I have a few keyword searches I look up occasionally on Twitter - mainly because I like to see if anything is happening in places I have a connection with. One such place is Durrington where I taught for a few years and I am still connected to through my church.
So there I am having a look at a twitter search for Durrington and I see something being retweeted for Durrington High School results. Great, I think, they are doing well for themselves! So I look closer and eventually conclude that this is spam tweeting. What is hilarious about these tweets is that if you know the local area, if you have ever experienced the culture, these profiles are sooo out of touch that it is amusing.
I am thinking that our first spam candidate Alex is in fact a serious real life climber from Colorado with a genuine interest in comprehensive state education. What a hero!
