Why vent everything publicly? Yes, twitter offers that possibility but it feels like a mistake to be a stream of unedited consciousness. Perhaps if it is the draw of the digital (ie writing is hard to do/manipulate/store/whatever) then find another means of self-tweeting/self-facebooking.

Day One is such an app. I have been using it a lot and it fulfils the place that twitter had wrongly claimed - namely a space where I can vent without fear of it haunting me later.

Antisocial is the new social.
