No more shoddy behaviour from Mr T.

I read this post yesterday linked by Realmac Software boss Nick about tumblr putting their apps through some developmental work. All I can say is the iphone app needs it: what is good is missing out on being GREAT.

To be able to record and edit audio was just part of the dream. That has now been largely solved by VC Audio Pro. Once you get the hang of it, it is a great editing tool.

Now here is the issue: once you have edited it, how can you export an mp3 and then upload to Tumblr without having to use a desktop machine?

Either: Tumblr accept other formats. VC export mp3.

At the moment you can email an <10meg file and it works for posting.

This could be better.

Tumblr mobile I love and hate you. 

I love your mobile power. So convenient. 

I hate your downtimes, your mainly rubbish interface. More space for writing! More space for styles like bold italic etc! More stored tags to just use rather than retype and spoil so often. 

Come on guys. You are big enough to make something better. 

Of course, it is a bit annoying that Tumblr doesn’t appear to be embedding those Unicode symbols…
